Lansing area high school students created the art works in this exhibition as part of Peace Quest, a month-long community celebration of the United Nations international day of peace, and in partnership with Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation of Metro Lansing. They were asked to respond to the theme of the competition, differences, justice and equality, by creating work that reflects on the negative impact of racial and social segregation on our pursuit of economic, educational, and social equality and justice.
